Dear Discogs seller, first and foremost, congratulations on taking an important first step: you have found us! From now on, you will never have to search through your entire warehouse to find your orders. Using Recordpicker will change everything.
We use the Discogs API, which allows Recordpicker to retrieve your orders that are in "payment received" status. Therefore, it is crucial that Recordpicker can communicate with your Discogs account. Click on "Connect to Discogs" in the screen, and you will be redirected to your Discogs account.
Note: If you are not yet logged in, you will see the screen below:
If you are logged in to Discogs, clicking on 'Connect to Discogs' on the welcome screen will take you to the page shown in the example below. You can now choose to authorize RecordPicker with your Discogs account. This is an important step, as it creates a connection and allows you to view your orders on RecordPicker later on.
That was easy, wasn't it? Just a few clicks and you have linked your Discogs account with Recordpicker. After linking, you will be redirected back to your login page on Recordpicker. Assuming everything went well (and let's just go ahead and assume that for the purposes of this guide), your welcome message will now change to the following message.
Note:In this window, you can choose to link a different Discogs account if you accidentally linked the wrong one. However, this will not be the case most of the time. If it is, you can repeat the steps here.
At this moment, Recordpicker is working hard for you! Your orders marked 'payment received' are being retrieved. If Recordpicker is still in the process of retrieving orders, you will see the above screen on the 'dashboard' page. Let the magic happen, and within a few minutes, you will never have to spend a long time searching for your ordered records again. In your dashboard, you can now view your open orders, ready to be processed with Recordpicker
